The U.S has a major opioid epidemic on it's hands. The years of dumping drugs in the Black neighborhoods was just a precursor to what we see today. It has been proven the U.S Government has poured drugs into poor Black communities. Now the drugs are really hitting the White communities hard. Not crack cocaine but heroin. Over the counter drugs, opioids have become the new drug of choice in America.
Except there is nothing new about it.
So what has changed ?
Answer: The news coverage.
Why is the media all of a sudden so fixed talking about the opioid epidemic which has been in existance in the US for at least 30 years ?
Yep, believe it or not the U.S is blaming the opioid and heroin epidemic on Mexico.
Several reports from multiple sources and news blogs have reported that the Mexican cartels are responsible and that the drugs are being funneled into the U.S by the Mexican cartels.
Here's the truth, in 2015 the Tennessee government closed 308 pain clinics in one day. This is according to www.kevinmd.com.
Closing the clinics left 120,000 patients without treatment, or proper opioids thus creating the need for those patients to go to the black market.
This is just an example of how this so-called "New" epidemic really took off.
But leave it up to the U.S to blame Mexico.
